The People’s Grant: No Limits Just Legacy – Echoes of Tomorrow

The People’s Grant: No Limits Just Legacy – Echoes of Tomorrow
The Issue
Our communities thrive when creativity and education are supported, yet too many marginalized artists and grassroots programs struggle due to a lack of funding and council adherence. I’m calling on you to help me push for real change. By signing this petition, you can urge Toronto council members—like Chris Moise and Amber Morley—to advocate for better access to grants, funding, and more apprenticeship opportunities, as well as increased support for community service and social services.
With these resources, we can create life-changing programs, events, and artistic projects that not only uplift, empower, and engage our communities but also provide crucial alternatives to lawless activities. Instead of idly gathering with friends, independent and aging youth groups would have structured spaces to develop their skills, network, and learn from valuable experiences. These programs would foster creativity, leadership, and economic opportunities—helping individuals turn their passion into sustainable careers.
And maybe, just maybe, with bills like this passing and real support becoming more accessible, we won’t have to protest so actively to defund the Toronto police—because they’ll finally have something better to do than harassing marginalized communities.
Every signature and share brings us closer to a future where art, education, and community engagement are prioritized. Let’s make this happen together!
