Over the Independence Day weekend, Michael Lofthouse, CEO of SF tech company Solid8, was filmed in a racist verbal assault on an Asian family, celebrating their Aunt’s birthday. Lofthouse was filmed giving the family the finger, then said, "Trump's gonna f--- you. You f------ need to leave. You f------ Asian piece of s----." In addition, Michael Lofthouse was also charged with domestic battery and vandalism in 2016. There is absolutely no room for a company to be under the leadership of a racist criminal who acted so appallingly. A multicultural society will never benefit from having racists in power. I, along with countless others, demand that Michael Loftman be fired as CEO of Solid8. Solid8 should also be held accountable for what decisions they make in light of these recent events.
