Stop Industrial Solar in Defiance County
The Issue
Industrial Solar is plaguing Rural Defiance County and Agricultural ground across Ohio. These projects should not be destroying our lands, hindering wildlife, exposing residents to harmful metals and chemicals, EMF radiation, and noise pollution. These projects, especially the proposed project in Delaware Township and The Village of Sherwood, will be economically detrimental to our small but growing village.
Five land-owners leasers should not be able to make the decision for our entire area. Landowners’ rights should only go so far. When their rights infringe upon the rest of our rights, it should not longer be their decision. We must rally together and fight this project. The only way to get it stopped is to rally support and let our opposition be known to local officials who have the ability to intervene in the process with the Ohio Power Siting Board and the OPSB themselves.
Sign our petition and let your concerns and opposition be known.
