In The Office US season 5 ep 23, Andy and Dwight are showing off to Erin by playing Country Roads in the break room. After Andy and Dwight look deeply into each other’s eyes and the competition transitions into comradery, Erin leaves the room and Andy performs a beautiful solo. Unfortunately, instead of finishing his solo, Toby interrupts the duo and asks them to stop, ending one of the most beautiful scenes in the office.

I, personally, have searched the internet for clips of Ed Helms playing his banjo and have only found either reclips of The Office or one video of Helms at a concert that was poorly recorded. I also miss the firmly soothing strokes of Rainn Wilson on his acoustic guitar and don’t think The Office showed enough of this side of Dwight. 

I hope to use this petition to gain the attention of anyone at the Office as I believe that they would be willing to fulfill my wish. I also believe that I am not the only one who feels this way and I hope that I can be the voice for those who either do not have the courage or energy to create this petition. 

Hopefully, one day I can look back and re-read this poorly constructed proposition to the beautiful tune of Ed Helms and Rainn Wilson as the finish the majestic duet that they started almost 12 years ago.
