Come support SOTZ at Cynthia Nixon’s rally today, Monday, Sep 10, 5:30pm at City Hall in Mount Vernon. Bring your SOTZ signs and posters!
Yesterday, our Vice President Cherish Pratt stood on stage behind Cynthia at Cynthia Nixon’s press conference in Tarrytown. Cherish is the one standing to the left of Cynthia in the Journal News article holding up our SOTZ poster. And volunteer Theresa Westmoreland got two of her questions about the bridge answered publicly by Cynthia (and got a great picture with her too)!
While we do not support any particular candidate for governor, we do support any candidate who wants to help us preserve our history. That include Marc Molinaro (Republican) and also Cynthia Nixon (Democrat). So if you can, go show your support for the bridge at the rally. You WILL be welcome there! Don’t get political. You’re not there as a Democrat or Republican: you’re going as a New Yorker!
Next, Curtis Sliwa called today and left me a voicemail. He’d like me to appear on the show this week, so tune in. You may hear me!
Finally, to all you democrats out there, this Thursday is the democrat primary. THURSDAY. Please go and vote for the candidate you think is most likely to bring back the Tappan Zee name!
Sincerely,
