URGENT We have just learned that the Speaker of the Assembly is holding back the bill that would give us back the TAPPAN ZEE name because ANDREW CUOMO has made it very clear that this legislation MUST NOT COME TO A VOTE. OUR ONLY CHANCE in getting the name back is to completely and totally BOMBARD Gov. Cuomo's office with calls THIS WEEK, starting today. Calls must be made to CARL HEASTIE as well. Get your friends and family to do the same. Don't call just once - keep calling! SUGGESTED TALKING POINTS: 1. You stole the bridge name from us. 2. It's historic, it's part of our tradition. 3. We are DEMANDING you give it back. 4. We mean no disrespect to Mario Cuomo. In fact, we believe Mario Cuomo would be appalled and embarrassed that this "honor" was bestowed upon him in a manner that disrespected the history and tradition of the Hudson Valley 5.
