Finally, I wanted to apologize if any of you were put off by my last update. It came to my attention that some of you felt my tone was off color. Forgive me if so. This is all a very emotional thing for all of us involved, and me perhaps more so than anyone, because my reputation has taken many undeserved kicks over the last 7 months. If you were offended, I send my heartfelt apologies to you. But realize this: we're all on the same team, we all have contributed in some great way to where we are today, and we all just need to stay focused on the goal: convincing the NY Senate and the NY Assembly to vote YES on this compromise bill.
