Here are the latest developments: 1. Senator DeFrancisco's bill is moving towards gaining an assembly sponsor as well. 2. His team and ours have been coordinating these last few weeks and are working to put together a press conference event near the bridge this spring. 3. I will be attending a South Nyack Town Planning meeting next meet with a request for a protest permit so we can go far more 'public' with what we are doing. If you'd like to attend, please let me know via saveourtappanzee@gmail.com 4. We have received confirmation from the IRS that they've received our tax-exempt application, and we are expecting to hear more news next month. 5. The signatures are approaching 108,000. Yes, the signatures have slowed, but they are still steadily growing. Please continue to spread the word and tell everyone you meet. 6. Our merchandise sales are steady, with regular sales of bumper stickers, magnets, pens, lawn signs, hand santizer, and now posters too! We've received many orders, so our fulfillment is a little slow sometimes, but we're working our way through them one at a time, slowly increasing our street team presence! 5. Finally, if you really want to show your support and actually DO something to assist the cause, please visit www.saveourtappanzee.org/store and make a purchase. Help us continue to keep this issue alive. It's not an easy task, and the more of you who spread the word through purchase of marketing materials, the more success we will have. Some of you have told us you have purchased posters and are asking local businesses to post them. That is exactly the type of activism we need from you guys! Thank you for your continued support. -Dr. Monroe Mann, PhD, Esq, MBA Director, Save Our Tappan Zee, Inc. www.SaveOurTappanZee.org
