Sheik Umar Khan died yesterday after contracting the Ebola virus while leading Sierra Leone's fight against this 90% fatal, highly contagious disease.

In the true spirit of his calling he placed himself in mortal danger to help others, and paid the ultimate price for his courage and high morals, he is a true hero, and an example of all that is best in his profession

.I think his sacrifice and courage should be recognised by the committee, and I am sure millions of others will agree.
