Across America, healthy animals are being euthanized every week simply because shelters are overcrowded and out of space. At the same time, Beagles and other animals continue to suffer in inhumane laboratory testing experiments. These animals cannot speak for themselves. We must be their voice.

The No More Kill Shelters & Expand Animal Sanctuaries Act is a compassionate proposal aimed at ending euthanasia in animal shelters, ending animal testing, and expanding support for animal sanctuaries. The Act focuses on protecting animals, rescuing them from cruel conditions, and transforming the current shelter system into a more humane, sanctuary based model.

It would improve shelter conditions, transition facilities toward sanctuary style care, strengthen fostering and adoption programs, and reducing or eliminating the cost of spay and neuter services.
