Make Cobham Woods accessible to all

Make Cobham Woods accessible to all
The Issue
Cobham woods and Mausoleum is a local treasure loved by people of Gravesham. It’s ancient woodlands, highland cattle and Mausoleum have been enjoyed for many years as a place to walk, run or simply lose yourself in woodland.
The previous parking facilities at Lodge Lane have been closed due to anti social behaviour and problems accessing the farm due to lack of capacity vs demand of visitors. The alternative parking at Ashenbank is also too small and at 1 mile away does not meet the accessibility needs of all individuals, many of whom are restricted by their physical ability.
Together we can challenge The National Trust, Gravesham Borough Council and Cobham parish to be solution focused, find a middle ground and be innovative in a resolution which is sympathetic to the beautiful village of Cobham, so these woodlands can continued to be enjoyed by all for years to come.
Make Cobham Woods ‘For everyone, For ever’.
