All Canadians interested in permanently enshrining women's abortion rights are asked to read, sign and share the Government of Canada's House of Commons e-Petition e-4860. It has been coined The Morgentaler Petition in honour of Dr. Henry Morgentaler.

The majority of Canadians are now too young to remember parents finding their dead daughters' bodies lying in a pool of blood, clutching coat hangers.

That was Canada before Dr. Henry Morgentaler, (a man who survived a NAZI death camp), suffered maximum security imprisonment in Canada’s worst prison on his dangerous road to winning women’s abortion rights.

BUT! Just look south to the USA for an example of what Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party want to bring back to Canadian women. With Roe’s reversal by Trump’s appointed Supreme Court look at the horrific stories of women’s deaths and raped little girls unable to procure abortions is heart-wrenching. 

This is NOT our Canada!

Pierre Poilievre & the Conservatives have said they will use Canada’s Notwithstanding Clause to reverse not only women’s abortion rights, but also many Canadian minorities’ rights sanctified by the Charter of Rights & Freedoms. 

Their desire to control women's bodies has become all part of a global, radical right wing conservative movement to once again enslave women and minorities under medieval, controlling laws.
