The Ministry in Charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad and Migration Affairs is responsible for the repatriation costs of the remains/body of Moroccans who died abroad and have no insurance and their families cannot afford to pay, from their host country to the address of their families in Morocco. Proof of the indigence of the deceased and his family are required.

The Moroccan American Congress works closely with the Consulate General of Morocco in solving issues related to our community in various part of the United States. It came to our attention that this initiative is no longer available. 

On behalf of Moroccan American Congress, non-profit organizations, community activists, and all Moroccans in the United States. We're asking for your support with this petition to request to continue helping families in needs and based on the financial situation of the deceased and the applicant.
