This is important since career and livelihood of more than lakh Engineers/Technologist with AMIE graduates are affected by the withdrawal of recognition by MHRD Government of India from May 30,2013.

The Institution of Engineers (India), 100 Years Of Relentless Journey Towards Engineering Advancement For Nation Building by AMIE Graduates. 

Many of past AMIE Engineers have achieved exemplary position in Engineering society and this recognition is very much necessary for pending AMIE.Also many have already completed their Master and Phd in Engineering and have secured very respected position in engineering community without any other additional degree before pursuing AMIE.

Nowadays most of the employers in India which includes Private, PSU, State Govt. & Central Govt. are not accepting AMIE degree as Equivalent to BE/BTech and not allowing in the competition of recruitment drive. This affects both new as well as past pass out AMIE Engineers from IEI.

We would like to bring this to you and request you to kindly take action regarding the matter and make AMIE graduates alive in competition of recruitment drive as well as building the self-reliant India (Atmanirbharbharat).
