Request to develop HMDA Urban Forestry Nursery in Tellapur as public park.

Request to develop HMDA Urban Forestry Nursery in Tellapur as public park.
The Issue
HMDA has developed a beautiful urban forest in Tellapur village, Ranga Reddy District over many years. It has beautiful plants and trees of various fruits and flowers, and is home to many peacocks, birds and other animals.
This is the happiest place for morning walkers and runners in Nallagandla and Tellapur villages and is the biggest lung space available in our neighborhood.
This urban forest has a great potential to be developed and maintained in the lines of New York's Central Park, without disturbing the ecology and using sustainable building materials like wood etc.
The residents of this neighborhood wish to and request the state government of Telangana and HMDA to develop & maintain it as a beautiful green public place with natural ponds, walking tracks, open gym, meditation zones, tree houses for kids, benches and other pubic amenities like toilets, lockers and drinking water stations. In order to ensure safety and security of the residents, we also request HMDA to deploy few security guards and CCTV cameras in the park.
The contract farmers living in huts in the park are forced to defecate in open in the park. Hence community toilets, along with public toilets need to be built.
Additionally, in order to improve the accessibility to the park, we request HMDA to develop the approach roads from Nallagandla-Gopanpally Main Road to the park with cycle tracks and wide pedestrian footpaths with street lights for walkers.
Currently, the main entrance gate of the park is opened around 7-7.30. We also request HMDA to open the gates by 6 AM, just around the time when the sun rises for early morning walkers and runners to access it.
Here is a link to the proposal.
Thank you,
The Residents of Tellapur & Nallagandla
