Native Americans were one of the healthiest people in North America, however today we suffer from some of the worst health disparities in the United States.

We believe that we need health equity among our people. It is our responsibility to engage in science and research to help Doctors and Researchers to learn more about the health disparities on our reservation.

We have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials to learn more about the safety and efficacy of certain medicines to improve the health care for our people and our community.

By signing this petition, I support an individual right to learn about and participate in clinical trial research opportunities. I understand that learning more about clinical trials is part of becoming more informed. Signing this petition does not require me to participate in any research trials. I understand that participation in any research project is completely voluntary and even if I chose to participate, I can withdraw from any study at any time.
