Investigate Melissa Gira Grant for Links to Child Sexual Abuse Rings

The Issue

We are a group of sex workers, abolitionists, libertarians, progressives, communists, conservatives, transfolk, cis-gendered folk, free speech activists, and journalists. While our ideologies may vary, we have decided to come together in a unified effort to stop child sexual abuse.

Melissa Gira Grant recently gave a talk at Yale, making her an increasingly visible threat to our civilized society. We demand that she is investigated for the following:

Part of the Solution: Youth in Sex Work and the Sex Trade

"It is a step forward for policymakers and advocates to recognize that young people who do sex work or who are impacted by the sex trade are not criminals. We must also recognize that not all young people who do sex work and who are impacted by the sex trade are victims. Partnerships between young people and adult allies must support the vision and leadership of young people." -Melissa Gira Grant

Grant's associates claim that "youth in the sex trade" refers to people above the age of consent, but this document speaks otherwise and clearly states that "young people" are between the ages of 12 and 23.

Please sign this petition so we can have the media investigate this situation. Grant is not only advocating for child sexual abuse, but silencing people who speak out against her through financial manipulation:

"Looking for a donor to give $1 for each time someone questions our advocation of child prostitution."

We want Melissa Gira Grant out of our communities, and request that she is investigated for putting the lives of innocent children in danger. We do not think that child sexual abuse should be a part of sex work, social activism, or a free market. Grant may be able to attack us individually, but she cannot attack all of us if we stand together.
