SAVE OUR ONE STOP SHOP

Rushmead One Stop Shop is a place that residents can get easy access to a wide variety of Council services – everything thing from sorting out a parking permit, to finding out about benefits or enquiring about help for an elderly relative. Rushmead is particularly valuable as it’s the only One Stop Shop to be open on a Saturday.

If the Independent Mayor’s proposals happen, Bethnal Green residents will have to trek to Bow, or right down to Commercial Road to access council and housing services. These remaining stores will also be busier so we can expect queues to grow.

The reckless economic policies of the Tory-led government are pushing prices and rents up - now is the worst time for the Mayor of Tower Hamlets to be cutting one of the only places for people to get advice and access to council services that may help.
