Hundreds of citizens of Crestview, Florida, have been wrongly convicted of crimes.
The Issue
During the R.I.C.O trial of Major Joseph " Crazy Joey " Floyd, officer after an officer admitted to perjury, falsifying reports, tampering with evidence, and lying every time they open their mouths.
It is the policy of the Crestview Police Department Street Crimes Unit to lure children / young adults into Drug-Free Zones to ensure a 25-year mandatory prison sentence.
During the course of the trial, it was discovered that as many as 1,000 police reports were altered, falsified, or changed by " Crazy Joey " Floyd.
Hundreds of the Street Crimes Unit victims had their charges dropped over time. Years later, their mugshots and charges are still on the Okaloosa county jail web-site.
The county jail website is owned and controlled by Okaloosa county. They put up and take down mugshots all day long.
