We, the undersigned members of Hillarys Yacht Club Inc. (HYC) hereby register our dissatisfaction with Pens carrying an unfair financial burden to compensate for losses in other areas of HYC activities and we petition the Management Committee to end the practice of imposing persistent Pen Fee increases to offset other Club Revenue shortfalls or otherwise treat Pens as a convenient cash cow.

We further petition the Management Committee to:

a.   Vigorously fight the Department of Transport (DoT) imposed Headlease Term that disallows HYC to charge lesser fees for Pens than DoT charges, and

b.   Adopt a transparent formula to be applied to Pen Fee increases that is based on the cost of Pens to HYC plus a reasonable, transparent markup; and not on a need to sustain other activities within our Club.
