Unfortunately, this is the story for Jamar Staton.

Jamar Staton was not only identified as a target by the local police and used as a scapegoat for Officers to close this case, but prior to any of this an officer made sure that he knew that she was going to find something to charge him with that would take his life away. Ray Dandridge explains that he and his uncle, ____, were the two responsible for these murders, but they refused to admit it due to their fear of the death penalty. Dandridge gave details that only he and his uncle would know. While Dandridge may be scared for what may come, that doesn’t make it right to hold Jamar accountable for something he had nothing to do with. He has missed out on countless family events, his daughters’ milestones and accomplishments, and various other things. It is time to give Jamar Staton his life back and hold Ray Dandrige accountable for his horrific actions.

We must work together to right this wrong because Jamar Staton doesn’t deserve this. We can make things right by helping him gain his freedom, so that he can start making the memories that he was robbed of.
