Dear Lego Group,

I have created this petition because I believe that JK Rowling's transphobic opinions are not only ignorant but dangerous at a time when Trans people face increasing violence across the world. Her statements violate the principles of Learning and Caring that make Lego such a great company and community, and while I realize that ending a popular product line is more than "doing a little extra," if the price for supporting Trans people is not having any new Harry Potter Lego adventures then I will gladly pay it.

One of the reasons Rowling has such a massive influence on our culture is that she is too rich to care about the negative effect her words have on the Trans community.  She doesn't care if I don't buy the new Hedwig, but ending your relationship with her would send a strong financial message.  Maybe this will spur her to educate herself but even if it doesn't you won't be financially supporting hate and violence anymore.

I propose recalling all Harry Potter sets, cancelling unreleased ones, and reworking them into a new line of castle themed sets.  You could call it Wizard Worlds and fuse it with the Elves colour scheme.

As an alternative you could donate all proceeds from Harry Potter set sales to Trans rights organizations.  In any case, I as well as the undersigned believe it is well past time for your business relationship with JK Rowling to end.
