Mr. Bill Zanker:

We recognize that "The Learning Annex is committed to impacting and improving the quality of people’s lives through powerful, practical, and insightful live and online classes, workshops, seminars, and expos." The Learning Annex has employed the services of Mr. Donald Trump to conduct business seminars where he is reportedly compensated up to $1.5M per lecture and provide a platform for the Trump brand and his book.

Mr. Trump continues to make public derogatory and discriminatory statements , which offend Americans, Americans of Hispanic decent, foreign officials, & Hispanic immigrants. He continues to defend his statements that  immigrants of Hispanic descent are "... bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists." 

Though I am a firm believer in free speech, these comments are offensive and discriminatory. Furthermore, they do not seem to be aligned with The Learning Annex Mission and Philosophy. Moreover, it certainly does not seem to be aligned with the kind of adult learning The Learning Annex would want to propagate with its adult students.

Several media organizations and retailers have already taken the position that they will not be in support of people who are discriminatory and do not support diversity. If The Learning Annex took a similar position, it would reinforce the diversity and values that we have come to expect from The Learning Annex. To not take a position, would be to support Mr. Donald Trump's views on Hispanics.

This petition is to gain your support in no longer employing Mr. Trump as part of your speaker curriculum, to make this public,  and to no longer give him a platform under your brand to continue to spread these views.
