Our community closed the pool in October to do some repairs on the pool decking, with the goal of being reopened by Spring Break. We have now been informed that the repairs have not started and there is no anticipated reopening date (although rumor has it that it won’t be until at least July). We pay a lot of money in dues to our HOA but have not been able to use our amenities in months. There has been no reduction of dues. Many families have expressed great frustration with not being able to use the amenities, especially the pool, jacuzzi, and splash pad. I would like to recommend that the association uses cones and caution tape to section off any areas that are deemed unsafe, and REOPEN OUR POOL, JACUZZI, and SPLASHPAD. Summer is coming and it is hot here in Menifee! Kids want to enjoy their summer and swim. Work on getting the bids and contracts now, and start the work AFTER summer. We have gone long enough without having the use of the amenities we pay for (and why many of us moved to this community). Our property values may even decrease because a potential homebuyer would see our pool closure as a decision-making factor in purchasing a home in our community!
