To win a lawsuit against Irresponsible adopters who abandoned a dying cat, Lulu!
The Issue
Being a pet owner and lover taught me a lot, brightened up my life and at the same time made me realise how filthy man can be. It was the most magical of my life experiences yet the one that carried unbearable pain. Why? Because of the lack of responsibility of some of those who adopted my cats' litter, many of which were lost, sold or even worse; were abandoned when sick and left to die on the streets. Yes, Lulu was claimed by her adopter to have developed systemic fungal infections that rendered her unable to carry vital activities such as eating, drinking or even moving. The adopter also claimed to have seeked medical help, but that later found to be a lie. Despite the fact that Lulu did not know what life on the streets is like, and she never learned the necessary skills to survive life on the streets, she was abandoned and left to die on her own instead of receiving the medical care she needed then. The fact that I frequently contact adopters to check on the wellbeing of the cats they adopted did not stop them from this ugly action.
Upon hearing the news, I had a nervous breakdown and then went into severe depression. And now, I am determined to win a lawsuit against the adopters and reclaim custody of two more cats adopted by two sisters from the same family. The two remaining cats are now mature and go into countless heat cycles without being allowed to mate. This could most certainly lead to cancer in the Uterus as well as psychological agitation. They also refused to spay them although spaying was one of the adoption conditions. Unfortunately, animal welfare cases and movements against animal abuse are disregarded in my country. I need every bit of support possible to win this case and to raise awareness as to the importance of animal welfare and the love given to these beautiful souls.
Please take care of your pets. A million thanks to those who lived up to the commitment!
Kindly, join my cause by signing this petition. I have also attached a photo of Lulu at 4 months of age before being adopted.
