Corruption in the Philippines is a big problem because billions of moneys are being lost and embezzled by various government agencies and politicians in the Philippines. Our country isn't poor because it just has corruption. About 30% of the funds are being pocketed, and the remaining amount is used to build flood control systems without steel and roads without proper infrastructure

 

Corruption in the Philippines is a pressing issue that affects various aspects of society and governance. This problem is suffocating our communities, draining our resources, and silencing our voices. It's unfair because the poor continue to suffer due to heartless individuals. While they swim in wealth, we struggle to stay afloat amidst the floods.

 

Other pinoy work hard to pay taxes, but corrupt officials steal flood funds to buy luxury car and mansions. Aren't you ashamed of what you're doing at DPWH? While we're struggling, you're just embezzling the money of fellow Filipinos.

 

This is why progress feels impossible taxes paid by citizens are stolen before they reach their pur

 

Infrastructure that exists on paper never materializes in reality ordinary Filipinos suffer the consequences of decisions made in comfort by those untouched by accountability.

 

Solving corruption is not easy, but it is possible. Choosing leaders who are honest and trust is one of the most power full ways to fight corruption. Through strong law, transparency, Education, and active citizenship, we can build society where honestly is valued more than greed. If everyone work together, corruption can reduce, and the country can achieve real progress.
