Penny Sharpe has proven herself an effective passionate member of parliament in NSW. Mid-way through her recent Upper House term she left to contest the new seat of Newtown unsuccessfully. Despite the fact during the campaign Penny indicated she would not return to the Upper House, I'm hoping a groundswell of support from the public will help her to reconsider just how much NSW needs her in Parloament. As a leading member of the cross party working group, Penny has effectively navigated a number of reforms not only through her own party, but though the Parliament itself. To lose such an effective and dedicated advocate would be truly disappointing. PLEASE sign this petition to tell Penny she is needed back in Parliament!
