Last weekend I saw Kevin Clash and Steve Whitmire at a comic con in my home state. I was able to get answers from Steve about The Muppets and the Henson’s. I told him that I felt that Disney forced the Henson’s to say all those statements about Steve’s performance as Kermit, as Disney is a billion dollar corporation. I think Steve said he didn’t understand what the Henson’s were referring about. I also asked Steve about Matt Vogel, and that people criticize Matt’s voice for Kermit, and that I agree that Kermit’s voice is a bit off. I think Steve also mentioned that Jim was questioning whether or not Disney was such a good idea to enter negotiations with. I also told him that I believed that Jim originally wanted a 5 year contract with Disney. And I showed him my petition statement about my research I found about a meeting with Disney’s Michael Eisner, Jim Henson, and Joan Ganz Cooney as it came to talking about the Sesame Street characters and the Disney negotiations. I also forgot what Steve said about the conflict with Jim entering negotiations with Disney, and Kermit’s daily appearances on Sesame Street. Steve actually knows about when Disney acquired the Fox Movie Studio, and removed Fox from its logo, as well as acquiring movie, television, library contents like the Simpsons and Family Guy. As well as funny photos of Pinky and the Brain and Disney. An AI generated image of Rizzo and the Brain planning world domination. Bart Simpson writing on the chalkboard it’s a pleasure working for the Disney Corporation. As well as a drawing of Pinky and the Brain and Mickey Mouse planning world domination. And Steve also answered my question if Maurice LaMarche as the Brain asked Rizzo, “are you pondering what I’m pondering” Rizzo would respond that he doesn’t know what pondering means. And I also told Steve how Mickey Mouse is like an evil mouse who constantly takes over the world, with acquiring franchises and companies. And whereas Pinky and the Brain are two lab mice who constantly fail at taking over the world. And that I wish Henson still owned all the franchises including Sesame Street characters. I also explained that if I was Jim Henson, I wouldn’t want to sell and give Kermit away to anyone or anything. Whether companies like Disney or Sesame Workshop, said how Kermit is like a prized possession, similar to Edgar Bergen’s character Charlie McCarthy who have appeared in The Muppet Movie together. And that Edgar wouldn’t want his family to sell his character to anyone or anything. I asked him I know Steve thought The Muppets wouldn’t be in a good place with neither Henson or Disney. But who else would we get to help Muppets, and Steve believes that it’s a good point I made. My whole point is everything I’ve explained is we both believe that The Muppets aren’t at good place at Disney now. And I told him next year Disney will have a new CEO. And we both hope that Disney will sell Fox and the Muppets. Someone at a comic convention had also told me that at an event with Brian Henson, Brian was actually asked by someone how Brian felt about Matt Vogel voicing Kermit. And I think the person told me, that Brian didn’t want to respond to that question on the new voice for Kermit.
