Today was the last official day of Muppet Vision 3D. So I think that means tomorrow the place will officially close down, and possibly knock the down the place for it's replacement. I've never been able to go to Florida to visit the place as it's expensive to fly out to places. I think Jim Henson, would probably realize that negotiations with Disney, was a mistake. The Muppets seem to be not what he had visioned them. Sadly people also criticize Matt Vogel for his Kermit voice. I agree that his Kermit voice is way off, doesn't sound like Steve or Jim. I feel the Disney people and Brian Henson seemed to have not done a great job with auditions to find Kermit a third voice, as there were apparently 20 people in the audition process. I also think Jim Henson, never has done understudies or auditions for the Muppets, characters would get passed out through a lineage passage. I think Eric Jacobson's voice sounds almost equal to Frank. I also think the puppeteer Ryan does a great job as Elmo, and it sounds equal to Kevin's voice. So Sesame Workshop seemed to have done a terrific job with recasting Elmo, but not Disney recasting Kermit. I don't understand why the Henson family is siding with Disney to criticize Steve Whitmire's behavior and think Steve has done an awful job as Kermit. Whereas Steve wanted to protect the integrity of the character, and felt there were Disney projects not true to Jim Henson's influence and vision. I haven't been able to write a letter to Henson, so maybe I could do that soon, I don't know.
