Consultants Consult, Surgeons Operate,  and  Anaesthetists Anesthetise. However  Nurses no longer nurse!, leaving the basic care to Care Assistants!, whom it seems are leaving patients unclean with basic personal health care needs left un-attended to! They somehow it seems, expect or assume the patient will get better if left dirty, or even left for long periods in their own waste!

The pictures attached to this petition where taken when I finally got to meet my brother recently (who has been extremely unwell for a long time) our meeting help up by lock down issues and after he had spent most of October in an NHS hospital some 130 miles from here. Upon arrival his clothes were dirty, his hair matted and it seemed hadn't been combed in a long time! he had that much grey & powdery dry skin on the ears, nose and face that they looked like a zombie, and his hands and feet - well you can see the feet!
During my 260 mile round trip and 2hours visit - I did what I could!
For those of you who are not paying attention to what is going on in our health services - here is a wake up call! I would recommend you get active before you need it!!

Please, can I urge you therefore to sign this petition to demonstrate to the Health Minister the level of public feeling and the urgent need address this lack of basic care to our most vulnerable by bringing back proper and appropriate nursing care.
