House Bill 1445 was written by specialty dog breeders to create a monopoly for themselves while filling their pockets at the expense of the lives of tens of thousands of dogs and cats.

This bill as it is written will virtually eliminate all pet rescue efforts in Massachusetts.

This bill as written will eliminate the possibility of anyone ever having the opportunity to foster a pet as it requires any foster home to eliminate all carpeting. Provide tile floors only and get this, build a separate bathing facility for each pet.

HB1445 will give the Department of Agriculture the authority to conduct warrantless searches of your home or business and seize your property without probable cause. It give cause for the DA to establish a "Gestapo" style enforcement bureau that has no oversight and answers to no one.

If you do or ever have fostered a pet you will be fair game for their investigation.

America does not need another bureaucracy being established by a self serving force that is designing it with the sole purpose of eliminating it's competition all the while creating a monopoly for themselves.

Eliminating pet rescues and foster homes will surely result in the euthanization of thousands and thousands of pets.
