Dogs all over the country are being held in puppy mills. When people think of puppy mills, they think that it is maybe just a little worse than a pound, but it is not. Puppy mills are way worse they are very abusive when it comes to caring for their dogs. There are also so many consequences of having no laws against puppy mills, such as the puppies that get sold have many health problems. This issue also affects many more people then you think. The puppy mill companies are very smart so we must make a law that stops them from hurting more dogs.  
      There are many dogs that are being malnourished and over breed all over the united states, and there are no laws against it. Puppy mills are very convincing on their websites that they are selling happy, healthy dogs but that is not true. The puppy mills keep their dogs in small cages with barely any food and water. They are also not just abusing them physically they are also abusing the dogs mentally. The puppies that they sell usually have very severe anxiety and fears. And those are just the puppies what about the mothers. The mothers of the puppies are also extremely abused. They are way over breed to the point they get very ill. If there is no law made soon then more people will buy unhealthy puppies and more and more dogs will be abused.  
      This change needs to happen so there are no more over breeding and abuse happening to the dogs in puppy mills. If this doesn’t happen soon then more and more people will buy dogs that have bad physical and mental problem. The owners are bad people and we must take them down. There need to be laws on this. Laws will make it so they can no longer put their website online and hurt the dogs.
