Hi everyone :), Cree here.

I just want to say a MASSIVE thank you for the people who have shown courage and solidarity with me and have signed my petition. I was checking the stats and it says my petition was shown over two thousand times, and out of those times 108 of you decided to join me on this awareness journey. I am so so so grateful.

I want to say a few things concerning this petition: First, remember to all the people who want to identify as "black", please know "You were African before you became anything else". The reason I am pushing so hard for this petition to be recognized is because it is time we put ALL racist connotations to bed. For those of you who still don't understand the significance of this petition, I will explain further.

To give you more insight on myself, I work in the health sector. You have probably heard people in the health sector say " 'black' men are at a higher risk of high blood pressure". While working in the health sector, statistically speaking the people I have seen come in with high blood pressure as well as diabetes are South East Asian's and Caucasians. Also, I once heard a doctor say " 'black' women are more at risk to getting fibroids". Do you know what these two encounters both had in common? They were said by old "white" medical practitioners using centuries old and racist ways of studying medicine. The truth is, anybody can get high blood pressure, it is not only limited to one race BUT to say " 'black' men are at a higher risk of getting high blood pressure" feeds into the mental psychology that racist white people tried to feed "blacks" in America to further dehumanize them. It is completely wrong to have this kind of false medical practices going around, and even more wrong to keep telling it to people causing fear for the new generation.

Most reported cases of mental illnesses come from Caucasians, but nobody ever mentions that. Why must it be high blood pressure that affects "black" men? We must learn to UN-LEARN these awful and evidently racist teachings and live as one.

I put it to you, did the American research team who passed on this racist message about the health of "black" men survey ALL black men? Were ALL "black" people in Africa, Asia, South America, etc surveyed for them to come up with such an unacceptable, and again highly racist, commentary? No. They surveyed only a handful who were living in America wallowing in poverty and not knowing how they got mentally trapped into a system that was meant to destroy them mentally and then everywhere else. "black" people living in Africa have great jobs and are doing well. Again, people get high blood pressure based on how they handle (or lack thereof) their stress levels. Signalling it to 1 race is again, HIGHLY RACIST.

If you really want to test the olden days research, do the survey again. It is absolutely racist, immoral AND unethical to still be teaching this in schools. Wake up everybody.

Finally, the term "black" was coined to avert you from knowing about your heritage. Racist people coined various illnesses and conditions to make the "black" people hate themselves, and up until now it had worked for them, BUT I SAY NO MORE. I am calling on every single millennial person out there OF EVERY RACE. We need a future that our children can be proud of and live in without fear or bias medical treatment, or bias educational system, or bias anything. We need to create a future for our children where racism is silenced perpetually. We need to create a future where people aren't scared to be "black". We need to create a future where people are recognized by their cultures and not by the colour of their skin. We need a future where people are called out for their cultural heritage and not just a colour which has had racist roots and brainwashed into people's minds.

I encourage everybody who identifies as "black", ASK questions. Do your research. Find out about your heritage, and if your parents don't know FIND OUT YOURSELVES. You were African before you were anything else. Africans had a rich history that racist people wanted to wipe out. Africans had Mansa Musa, Africans had art. All the African art you see in the British museums were taken from African countries. Africans are creative. Do not let anybody try to tell you otherwise. Do not be too westernized that you forget about tradition. This is bigger than you and me; this surpasses even being called a colour. This is about longevity. I am speaking up, and you should too.

PLEASE KEEP SHARING MY PETITION TO GAIN MORE AWARENESS. I LOVE YOU ALL.
