With this petition I would like to bring awareness to mental health in Australia and the state of the system in hope of achieving recognition on a parliamentary level to then push for more funding from each budget to be used for mental health services.

My aim is to reduce the overall suicide numbers everyday in Australia and in particular the amount of men that take their own lives in Australia everyday. As an outcome of reducing those numbers ive set a crazy goal, not just for myself but the state and federal governments alike as I believe its their responsibility to make sure their policies, procedures and systems are working for the very people that are working for them! That goal is to reduce the number of men that take their own life by half over the next 5 years (2021-2025). To me thats reasonable and for what the subject is, it should be more than achievable with the right backing.

Im going to get loud over this regardless of wether its just me pushing it but it would honestly mean the world to me if you could back me up and i cant thankyou enough if you do!
