Dear Friends of Old Hickory Lake,

Yep, we were afraid of this. We are hearing from city sources that Bob Goodall is taking steps to prepare the Foxland Harbor Marina project for a possible sale to a private investment firm or another potential investor. This is the wake-up call to elect new leadership in Gallatin! Learn more at the People of Gallatin - 

The marina proposal was paused, not permanently withdrawn. A new investor would not make our concerns about traffic,safety, noise, and the impact on Old Hickory Lake disappear. This is happening to marinas across the country, it is not good for the average boat owner, and it is definately not good for our neighborhoods. Out of state owners? Unaffordable slip fees?
A “dock-ominium” ? No, thanks!

If a new investor takes over, Gallatin residents deserve answers: Would the project’s size or operations change? What would happen to public access, fees, and long-term maintenance? What changes would the city permit?
