Putting Rosa Parks on the One-Dollar Bill

The Issue

  1. Ever since I was a young child the impact that Rosa Parks created has always inspired me. Rosa Parks is an American activist in the civil rights movement and helped change the lives of many for the better! She is a true American Hero. For that reason I feel that Ms. Parks should replace George Washington and be on the one-dollar bill. George Washington’s impact doesn’t compare to Rosa’s; however, I do understand the significance with him being the first U.S. President. Therefore I would accept the idea of them sharing the spot equally.
