THE FAIR TRAINING ACT

THE FAIR TRAINING ACT

The Issue

My name is Prentice Johnson, and I am an Illegally Terminated former employee of Urban Logistics L.L.C., an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP).

Recently, through Urban Logistics L.L.C. DSP, I was abused, threatened and, without warning, retaliated against in clear violation of United States Employment; Negligence, Harassment, and Discrimination, laws.

On Sunday, September 17th the trainer:

  • Smoking in the Vehicle.
  • Almost Got into a Car Accident.
  • Ran a Red Light.
  • Told me He was a Former "White Supremist!"
  • Told me his Father was still a "White Supremist."
  • Said the Word "F," referring to Homosexuality.
  • Mentally Projected the "N" Word. (I don't think it that way!)
  • Spoke Loud Outside of the Window so People Could Hear him Talking about Homosexuality.
  • Yelled at me to Stop for a Train Track, After I Literally Came to a Complete Stop at a Stop Sign.
  • Quit in the Middle of Training.

These violations and abuses fail to explain that blatant lack of actual training that commenced and the incompetence of the manager that placed me with the trainer. Also, they are recorded on an Amazon Recording Device.

Minnesota 1st District Court Case #19HA-CV-23-4308

This experience has led me to realize an urgent need for the assertion of a national Bill set to enforce a FAIR EMPLOYMENT TRAINING ACT!

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has released detailed breakdowns for the 72,675 charges of workplace discrimination that the agency (EEOC) received in fiscal year 2019, up slightly from the 76,418 filed in 2018. Back in 2010 the agency received almost 100,000 charges. Unfortunately currently, it (EEOC), is backed-up for over a year.

Moreover, as a whole, the Department of Labor has become a serial waste of United States Tax Dollars.

NOTE: complaints submitted to the EEOC and Department of Human Rights are not always pursued in favor of the violated party. Early October, I was told the by Department of Human Rights they were "not able to help."

These state departments are separating actual Human Rights and breaking them down in segregate forms to enforce a negative agenda. This type of rejection through an actual violation is devastating, is FURTHER VIOLATION AND A TRANSPARENT WASTE OF UNITED STATES TAX DOLLARS.

Through oversight and without proper enforcement, companies can disregard legal protections with impunity. The Fair Training Act shall be designed to protect employees like myself from lack of thorough training and unjust treatment in the workplace.

Amazon utilizes 3rd Party services to avoid liability. And, I suspect further injustices.

Research the number of complaints submitted to (employment site) Indeed regarding Amazon treatment of Delivery Drivers, Nation Wide:

45% of the people who were able and willing to think of reviewing the position gave the extremely high turnover company low reviews... On Indeed alone, 10K+ reviews of 45,000 are 2 stars or below!

These alarming understandings underscore how widespread this issue is and how critical it is that we take action now.

By signing this petition, you are not only standing up for my rights but yours, and those of countless other workers who have been victims of Illegal Termination and/or other forms of Employment Abuse.

PLEASE HELP STOP THIS ABUSE FOR FUTURE WORKING CLASS ADULTS!

We must demand and follow through with the assertion and enforcement of a Fair Training Act to ensure that all workers are treated fairly and justly by law.

To join us in advocating for fair employment practices across all industries, please sign this petition for the creation, assertion, and enforcement of THE FAIR TRAINING ACT, today!
