Parents, Teachers, and students. As you know, recently our Principal at Holtville High School was removed from our school, and her position. We have had one, one legendary principal at Holtville High School before Mrs. Tarica Lamar and that of course was Mr. Earnest. Since then only one person has been able to fill those shoes, teach, love, and discipline our children. Most of all, earning the respect to sit at that desk and that is Mrs. Tarica Lamar. Mrs. Lamar has shown our Historic school respect, she has come down on the children for attendance, speaking to them as a whole when it came to grades, attendance, and behavior and the consequences they would face if they did not meet those standards as the responsible young adults she was molding them to be. Teachers admired and respected her. Sadly, some parents did not encourage their children to follow these rules or even encourage their own children to respect her not only as an adult, but the Principal of their own High School. Thus leading to parents complaining about such 'scores' and attendance that the parents should have been reinforcing into their own children. Dr Harrison along with the ECBOE has incompetently seen fit to remove Mrs. Lamar from our school as Principal. I am asking every parent, every teacher, every student to speak up on Mrs. Lamar's behalf and sign this petition which I will present along with other facts concerning Dr. Harrison, his assistant, and his lawyer... to the ECBOE, the Wetumpka Herald, The Montgomery Advertiser, Wsfa, and anyone else who would like to see actual 'facts'. Let's sign this petition and get our Principal back where she belongs. Tarica Lamar is a Bulldog through and through. Let's bring her home...
