"Four out of five students experience sexual assault or bullying from elementary school to high school" (k12academics). Many former students confessed their stories on twitter this week and spoke about sexual assaults they received from their former classmates. 

In middle school I was bullied and so were many other of my classmates. Teachers and staff didn't prevent or stop the bullying. I didn't have any resources in school that could help me cope from the side effects of bullying. Me and my friends went to this school till 12th grade and our bullies never got punished for their actions! I want to prevent this cycle from reoccurring and this is how:

1. Each school gives out punishments to students that continuously sexually harass and bully. 

2. Teachers intervene and stop the bullying when it occurs. 

3. The education on sexual assault and consent in every grade starting from middle school.

4. The education on bullying in every grade starting from kindergarten to 12th grade. 

5. Each school must have a psychologist that students can speak to and have a safe place to seek help. 

6. Giving out booklets to parents containing signs and symptoms that their child is being bullied or sexually assaulted, resources that the parents can contact to and how the parent can educate their child!
