Open an investigation on PostNL for countless lost and damaged packages.
The Issue
PostNL, the Dutch postal service, frequently loses and ruins packages "accidentally", and denies their responsibility because the parcels are not insured. How is it possible that they just go missing or disappear unless someone steals them? They cannot walk on their own. Why do we have to pay for their "service", only to receive damaged goods, or receive nothing at all, and be told "it is your problem"?
The current situation allows PostNL to charge customers for their "service", steal or destroy packages freely as they like, and get away with it by claiming that customers should have insured their parcels. They even refuse to refund the shipping costs, which have been paid for their advertised service. It seems as though "uninsured" means that they are free to exploit customers' items without consequences. This is complete corruption, and PostNL must be held responsible for their own unprofessional and possible criminal acts.
Please sign if you think the Dutch police and government need to open an investigation on PostNL. Only then, we can send gifts, belongings, or business items to/from the Netherlands without risking them to be lost or damaged .
