Diversity And Inclusion

Diversity And Inclusion
The Issue
A close friend of mine has been doing her part by reaching out to local businesses here in the city of Austin, by asking the managers & owners what they will do in order to diversify their establishments & ensure that blacks and people of color in general feel more included!! I thought this was a great idea, and felt inspired, so I decided to reach out to some as well...mainly The Domain as well as @rockroseatx, The Rock Rose section of The Domain! After contacting them on IG, Alison of the management team responded to my message within a day asking to speak with me by phone! Details from that conversation are included a video posted to my social media pages! I strongly encourage you all to reach out to any Austin area business that has ever made you feel some type of way by not appreciating your presence, or treating you less than because of the color of your skin!! It’s time for change...let’s keep applying pressure!!
*Thank you to Alison of @rockroseatx for being so understanding and listening to my issues & concerns with the clubs/bars on Rock Rose at the domain! I appreciate your time!*
PS...The Domain @thedomainaustin has yet to respond to me, but they did read my message (for inquiring minds)! I highly doubt they respond to me. With that being said, we MUST boycott the domain and not spend our hard earned money with them, until they treat us equally! Until changes are made, I refuse to support the domain!!
Brass Tap, Wonder Bar, Kung Fu Saloon, LaVaca Street Bar, and 77 Degrees (@brasstapdomain @wonderbaratx @kungfusaloon @lavacastreetrockrose @77degreesatx) and so many more have posted absolutely NOTHING pertaining to equality for black patrons or patrons of color...however Dogwood @dogwoodrockrose posted for #BlackoutTuesday, but it’s not enough!! I appreciate them for posting, but if you support the movement, please be more vocal!! UNTIL WE SEE CHANGE, WE WILL BOYCOTT...but will still gladly support Kicking It ATX & The Gossip Shack!!!!
