Ballare nightclub (otherwise known as ‘Cindies’ to all the Cambridge Uni students out there!) has been the home to so many students in Cambridge over the years. So many good memories, great people, great music and great celebrations. As someone who used to work there and in turn met so many amazing friends, can confirm that the club, the customers and the people who run it built a strong bond and feeling of togetherness in the heart of Cambridge. 

From Cambridge University nights Monday to Wednesday, to Memoria on Thursdays and Fleek Friday at the end of the week; these nights became a weekly source of escape for students and adults all around Cambridge. The diversity of the music played and the events and live performances put on by so many great artists, Ballare built a name for itself. 

To shut this club would be such a complete loss to the Cambridge nightlife and student community. People rely on these facilities, such as Ballare, as an escape from day to day work/student life stress and  as such to help them cope mentally. People have built happy memories and friendships in this club and it would be such a shame to lose it.
