We live in a world where our bodies may not function as we'd like them too they eventually break down and we have to pay to keep them functioning. One of the things that can't be controlled for women is a period. A menstrual cycle can last up to 7 days maybe even longer for other people. It can pop on due to stress or it can be late due to stress. Because women have these cycles they are forced to buy products such as tampons, pads, menstrual cups, ect. The price is no where near cheap a small box of tampons can cost up to 16 dollars. I do not wish to vent here but it is hard, very hard. My mother takes care of two teenagers by herself and of course all our cycles are not in sync, they are very heavy, meaning you go through more product. Seeing how we are struggling now I can't even begin to guess how many people have it worse.

If more people begin to be unable to afford products that we need for hygiene and for something that we cannot control sickness can spread, you can get infection's, cyst, all these other things that cost MONEY to care for.
