Muslim Women In France Can't Wear Niqab In Public. Give Them The Freedom They Deserve!
The Issue
In 2011, France became the first European country to impose a ban on full-face veils in public areas, just to "uphold secular values." In doing so, many Muslim women were hurt. Are secular values more important than those of the people who live there? And whose secular values are those? Things like this should not restrict any religion: Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and all the others out there. People should be allowed to freely practice their religion wherever they are.
