On Monday, May 17th the school board met and a motion regarding Principal, Paul Anderson's employment was made to extend his contract for the 2021-2022 school year. A tie in votes, 2-2, rendered the motion "not passed." Students, faculty, staff, and community members were shocked and deeply upset by this action. We want to show the school board that Paul Anderson is the best principal, leader, friend, counselor, and father figure for everyone connected to our school. Our hope is that testimonials from students, faculty, former graduates, and community members will make the school board see this devastating decision, and give them an opportunity to continue Paul Anderson's contract for next year. By signing this petition, we, as students, faculty, and community members are taking steps forward to proving to the school board that Mr. Anderson is the only option wanted to father and love our high school.
