Stand up for LGBT Rights, put a rainbow on your cans!

This is a petition started by Glasgow University Amnesty International to get The Coca-Cola Company to put a rainbow on Coke cans for the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Coca-Cola have been criticised for sponsoring the Sochi Games due to new anti-LGBT laws introduced in Russia. But the company has decided to keep sponsoring the Games.

An official statement from Coke said: "As one of the world’s most inclusive brands, we value and celebrate diversity. We have long been a strong supporter of the LGBT community and have advocated for inclusion and diversity through both our policies and practices. We do not condone intolerance or discrimination of any kind anywhere in the world."

If this is true Coke needs to live up to their words and put a rainbow flag on Coke cans during the games.

A rainbow on their cans would be a clear global symbol to Russia, and the rest of the world that Coke 'does not condone intolerance or discrimination of any kind anywhere in the world.'
