The City of Santa Fe Municipal Recreational Complex softball fields have not been properly maintained by the city for use, and are in not playing condition. The fields have not been compacted or filled with the correct sand, they are not properly graded or leveled, one infield is a giant sand pit, all possess a risk to anyone playing in them. These fields in their current state are a liability for the city and have caused injuries to many of the softball players this season, ( we are only 2 weeks in ) Something  needs to be done and quickly, our tax dollars and entry fees pay for the city to upkeep this space. In addition, the restrooms should be accessible and portable potty’s removed, this is public recreational place and should be maintained as such.
