The alleyway from the courthouse parking lot to Hancock st. has been in disrepair for years. The city hasn't clean it, weeded it or cared for it. There was broken glass, overgrowth, and distasteful graffiti all over this alley. After a local artists cleaned and painted the alley, The city is demanding it be removed. This is real art for real people. Art is to be something to admire, to cause people to talk, to inspire. This piece is doing just that. It's the most beautiful art in the city for years.
