Philadelphia must apologize to MOVE on the 35th Anniversary of the Osage Ave Bombing

The Issue

A complex tragedy of misguided decisions has created an open wound in Philadelphia's history. Authorities dropped a bomb on a family. Many innocent people died. Many innocent people were harmed. Many families, homes and neighborhoods were destroyed. Philadelphia never apologized to MOVE or Philadelphia for these tragedies.

City Council Members from The City of Philadelphia must make an official apology to MOVE and The City of Philadelphia. Their offices have received certified, written requests to make an official apology. No current event should be allowed to overshadow past injustices against innocent people!

I started this petition because...
We want to Re-member MOVE. We don’t want this tragedy to fade quietly into history. We are witnesses to failed justice, lost lives and broken families. Our members have their own stories of betrayal, injustice and pain. We want Philadelphia to make an official apology to MOVE and the entire City of Philadelphia. To Re-member MOVE with an apology is to acknowledge and publicly pronounce our pain and pave the way toward healing.

Our goal is to reach 750,000 signatures! Please sign and share!
