The Happy Daze CBD and smoke shop has been deemed non essential even though cannabis and hemp products including CBD have been deemed essential all over the country. People need these products not for themselves but also for loved ones who are suffering from anxiety, insomnia, arthritis, and many other health problems. The owner is a kind caring woman who tries to help and support her community in any way she can and since the Covid-19 outbreak she has gone to selling the government approved N95 masks for more than affordable prices compared to other stores and sellers. She has also gone to lengths to also sell hand sanitizers, and cbd infused hand sanitizer which would help those with arthritis. She also had recently started getting ready to start selling masks for children as well as handing out free sack lunches to help those in her community out. The city needs to learn that they have made a mistake and it needs to be righted. This not only affects her store which she has worked hard to rebuild after her first one had burned down, but it affects the community too because many people rely on her for affordable CBD products. This is why I urge you people of Alice and whoever else sees this petition sign it. The more signatures the faster we can get this caring woman back to work supporting her community. Show the City of Alice that they made a mistake and they need to right their wrong. It is our constitutional right to petition what we feel is unjust and now is the time to flex that right.
